This drink is divine: very creamy and delicate, it also provides an excellent workout every time you prepare it! Read the recipe below and you'll understand why.

The cocktail takes the name from it's Creator, Henry C. Ramos and was originally called the New Orleans fizz. Legends say that the Ramos gin fizz was so popular that Ramos's bar had to hire many bartenders solely to shake this drink up for guests.

Be ready to shake your arms off, but it will be well worth it, trust me!

- 2 oz / 60 ml gin
- 0.5 oz / 15 ml lemon juice
- 0.5 oz / 15 ml lime juice
- 0.75 oz / 22 ml simple syrup
- 0.5 oz / 15 ml heavy cream
- 3 dashes of orange flower water
- 1 egg white

Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake. Add ice to the shaker and shake again for 2 minutes. Strain into a highball glass and top up with soda water. You'll know you did a good job with the shaking if you are able to stick a straw in the drink and it stays straight up.
